Josephine Simonel is a fitness and sports influencer and advocate for gender rights, particularly focusing on menstrual health. She founded the Bidii Girls Program, which aims to offer education to girls in marginalized and poverty-stricken areas, supporting their education financially and ensuring they have access to sanitary pads during their menstrual cycles. Subsequently, she ventured into entrepreneurship in the mining and precious stones industry, gaining international exposure through Gem store shows worldwide. In 2010 she transitioned to a fitness coach. She gained recognition in Kenya for her Zumba fitness classes, becoming a top fitness influencer known for transformative classes. Through her fitness endeavors, she organized charity events to raise funds for girls' education and menstrual health in slums, as well as fundraising for cancer awareness and children's education with organizations like KCDF Kenya. Bidii Girls, under her leadership, has empowered numerous girls and aims to continue its mission of educating and empowering girls in both rural and urban areas to combat poverty.
